AB Education Assurance Survey

Happy Friday Parents,

Hopefully nearly all of you have received your Alberta School Assurance survey QR code and Random Access Code that was sent home this week with your child (we still have a few in the office from students who’ve been away due to illness, family trips, etc.). If you have not received it yet, please reach out to the school (403-746-2236) and we can get your codes to you. 

The School Assurance survey is a very important document for our school and school division. Through the combined voices of school staff, students, and parents, we are able to identify what we are doing well and need to continue doing as well as focus our efforts on areas that need improving. For example, from previous surveys, lack of access to technology and insufficient course selection for sr. high students were two areas of improvement that were indicated. To address these needs, in 2024-25 we’ve provided a chromebook for every student in the school that can be used both at school and at home to ensure student access to their schoolwork at all times and we also created a Sr. High Option block in our timetable where we are offering Phys Ed 20/30, Art, Foods, Fish and Wildlife, Sports Performance, Introduction to Oil and Gas, and Carpentry. 

So please take a few minutes to fill out the survey - the more voices we hear from, the more accurate our direction will be in creating the best learning environment possible for all of our students.
